Royal Doulton Figurine, 'Mary, Queen of Scots', HN3142 from the 'Queens of the Realm' Series; This figurine was issued only in 1989 in a limited edition of 5000.
This exquisite fine bone china figure is of the highest quality and in mint condition. Royal Doulton is world famous for it's quality and craftsmanship, and has produced china and art pieces for the royal family of England for more than a century. The underside bears the name of the artist as well it's production #2826 in a limited edition of 5000.
She is dressed in a majestic gown of dark blue and purple with vibrant colors and glaze. She measures 23cm high (9 inches), modelled by Pauline Parsons.
This particular figurine was part of a large collection stored in a china cabinet for the last 20 years, and it shows wonderfully.
There are no nicks, chips, cracks, crazing or restorations. This figurine may be a little dusty. We will let the new owner take care of that. We do not know what to use to clean it and past experience has taught us to leave those tasks to the experts.
